Custom PK1A PSIDE-KICK Pressure Tank Kit
This system has been running great for 5 years or so. Finally had to replace the 4.5 gallon tank and pressure switch. So happy how it prevents the constant cycling that is so hard on the pump motor and switch. I love this thing. I used schedule 80 PVC on the pump side of the regulator. I have been in the VFD business since 1990 and know how to use them effectively on various applications including pumps. I believe that the Cycle Stop Valve is clearly the way to go for any single phase well pump. Large 3-phase motors that require some form of soft starting make the decision more complicated. VFDs have their place on larger motors that shouldn't be started across the line. make sense in the 50 - 1000 horsepower range.

CSV1A CYCLE STOP VALVE, 4.5 Gallon Pressure Tank
I had a waterlogged 20yr old 32 gal pressure tank. Came across the Cycle Stop Valve and was intrigued. Decided to give it a try. Simple space saving install that hopefully will keep my pump going for a long long time.

4.5 Gallon Pressure Tank
I installed the Custom PK1A PSIDE-KICK Pressure Tank Kit on October 8, 2018. Today is November 1, 2020 and I have to say that this system has been wonderful. Our showers used to drop from full pressure down to moderate pressure before the pump kicked on and recharged the pressure tank. Then the well pump would turn off and the cycle would repeat itself. With the Cycle Stop Valve the pressure remains constant. Thank you for a great product that is easy to install.

CSV1A CYCLE STOP VALVE, 4.5 Gallon Pressure Tank, Pressure Switch
My old system had a larger pressure tank that was buried. In order for me to check it I had to dig it up. I figured if I am digging to check it, I am replacing. You preset all of my pressures which all works perfectly together.

Installed CSV125-3 40 psi pump control valve and 4.5 gallon pressure tank in my booster pump house after 50 gallon pressure tank failed. Well is 157 ft lower than this pump house so water is plumbed to 200 gal tank then boosted to the house and a 5000 gal. tank uphill. After talking to the very helpful techs at Cycle Stop they recommended the CSV124-3 40psi and 4.5 pressure tank. My system is running 30-54 psi. I was able to run the pressure switch on the pump with 1/4" rigid hose to a 4 way I set the pressure tank on. All is working well and I'm impressed with the system. I lowered the pressure tank to 27psi and had a severe chatter when the pump shut off. I then lowered the pressure to 23 psi and chatter stopped.
