Custom PK1AM PSIDE-KICK Pressure Tank Kit
I have had my PK1A since 2018, and it has been problem free, until this Spring. Then it started cycling, non stop, without water being drawn. I called Cary, who had me install a check valve, where I could see it, near the floor, at the point the pipe from the wel enters the mechanical room. That ld to another problem where the pressure went beyond 60. Cary had me do the next two steps: (1) checking that the tank did not have a bad bladder (it did not), and (2) looking at the fitting(s) connecting the pressure gauge to the CSV were not clogged with gunk (they were. After cleaning and reassembling those fittings, it appears to be stable and working, as expected. I cannot say enough about the clear, patient guidance Cary provided this sometimes, but aways amateur plumber. Well done. Great product.

Heavy Duty Cycle Stop Valve has replaced Grunfos controller on more than one job! Keeps our pressures constant and also serves as quality control point for the whole home reverse osmosis system.
CSVS125-1 Cycle Stop Valve, Custom PK1AM PSIDE-KICK Pressure Tank Kit
I initially purchased the wrong valve but was able to exchange it for the correct one. The folks at CSV didn't bat an eye!

We installed the PSide-Kick and the resulting water pressure was exemplary. Night and day difference! Could not be happier with the product or results. I’m not a professional plumber, obviously, but was able to get it installed in about 3 hours. Definitely recommend a heavy Teflon wrap with joint compound over top on the stainless fittings…that was our only issue, with leaks at both ends of the cycle stop valve and manifold. Re-wrapping and adding joint compound solved our issue.

We've been on a shared well with another household for around 8 years. We've built a smaller house on our property for in-laws and wanted to have our own installed. When it came to selecting pumps, our well pump guy was pretty big on recommending a VFD system. After much reading and reviews, I decided to try the CSV. Putting it in place has been such a game changer. We have 2 households, 8 people total between the 2, some irrigation usage, and standard farm stuff. The CSV has made showers awesome again! I buried the valve right off the pitless adapter (riser + French drain underneath so it can breathe) and have the manifold, pressure switch, etc. mounted inside. I can't say enough good things about the CSV so far. It's been an incredible addition. I can't wait to continue to monitor power usage and start to get a feel for cycles, etc. and really quantify what this thing is doing for us. BUY ONE! You won't regret it.

if a school teacher can install this, anyone can! i had a huge water tank and removed while listening to my father " you need that tank" no sir this package is perfect. make sure you add enough tape on the threading because i have some small leaks from the valve but again if a teacher can install it anyone can. im not a plumber so i suggest a 2 sided threaded piece on both sides of the valve; i havent installed those but will upload those after. a few drips are not a big deal but again not a plumber. get rid of that old system!

I feel it is best to judge a business by how things are handled when they don't go according to plan. In my case, a few incorrect parts were sent in error. After an extremely helpful and friendly phone conversation with CSV, the correct parts were immediately shipped next day air free of charge. I had the correct parts in hand and installed the next afternoon. The situation could not have been handled better. As far as the functionality of the Cycle Stop Valve goes, it performs just as well as I had hoped it would: -Wall mounted pressure tank and switch use zero floor space. -Install was easy with clear directions to follow. -Full, constant pressure which when paired with a quality showerhead provides a most excellent shower experience (and I do notice and appreciate the nuances of what I consider a "good" shower). To add, my water filter supplier commented on the CSV, saying that while somewhat rare in my area, he likes to see them and vouched for the quality and design of the product. The only negative thing I can say is that the spigot that was included with the kit leaked badly from the start and had to be replaced. I have sent this part back at the request of CSV. The rest of the kit seems quite high quality to the judgement of my plumber.
The PK1AM kit was a relatively new offering so we had to work through a few details to get everything right. However, Cary and Sam at the Cycle Stop Valves bent over backwards to support the installation effort and the product is working great. We can now run a walking sprinkler to water horse grazing areas for extended amounts of time without worrying about excessive pump cycling. We also picked up a lot of space by removing the old, 220 gallon pressure tank in our well house. We first opened the well head, pulled the drop pipe and plugged the bleeder valve, installed the CSV, cut out the out galvanized tank, then plumbed the rest of the kit inside the well house.
